WodaTherm™ BDTN HV241 is a high-voltage outdoor battery storage system with 241 kWh of nominal energy for commercial, industrial and agricultural solar PV projects. Battery modules, BMS and thermal management are housed in an IP54 cabinet with active heating and cooling. The system is configured for a compatible PCS or hybrid inverter and the requirements of the installation site before production.
The HV241 is intended for sites whose daily energy flow and operating profile exceed the practical range of a typical home or small-business battery. Suitable projects can include factories, logistics centres, farms, workshops, office or retail complexes, charging hubs and larger PV installations. Depending on the selected power electronics, controls and electrical design, the storage can increase on-site use of solar generation, shift energy between production and consumption periods, support peak-load management or supply selected circuits during a grid outage.
This product is the DC battery-storage part of the project. A PCS or hybrid inverter, EMS, transformer, backup switching, grid protection, metering, cabling, foundations, unloading and commissioning are included only when they are stated in the WodaTherm™ proposal. The capacity of 241 kWh describes stored energy; AC power and available operating functions depend on the approved inverter and the design of the complete installation.
With a compatible outdoor-rated PCS or hybrid inverter, the HV241 can become an independent energy centre outside the occupied or production building. Ten practical advantages support this arrangement:
Outdoor installation still requires a complete project. The location must address foundations, drainage, earthing, cable protection, ventilation and service clearances, distance from openings and escape routes, vehicle-impact protection, snow, roof runoff, local flood risk and access for emergency services.
Temperature affects charging, available power and battery ageing. The HV241 therefore combines active cabinet heating and cooling with BMS supervision. The thermal-management system supports operation through seasonal temperature changes and prevents unsuitable charging conditions. Exact control setpoints, auxiliary consumption and the approved ambient range are confirmed for the ordered configuration and destination climate.
IP54 protection limits dust ingress and protects against splashing water under the relevant test conditions. It is not an immersion or flood rating. The installation must provide a level load-bearing foundation, controlled drainage, intact seals, correctly fitted cable glands and the specified service and airflow clearances.
The nominal battery voltage is 768 V and the configured capacity is 314 Ah. The 0.5C operating-rate reference corresponds to approximately 120.5 kW on the battery side. Final charge and discharge power is limited by the approved battery configuration, BMS, PCS or inverter, protection system, temperature and operating strategy.
Nominal voltage alone does not establish compatibility. Before order, WodaTherm™ verifies the PCS or hybrid-inverter model, DC operating window, BMS communication protocol, pre-charge and switching concept, isolation monitoring, cable design and the required emergency and service procedures.

Before the order is released, the measured load profile, PV output, required usable energy, charge and discharge power, reserve strategy, grid connection, inverter or PCS, installation environment and access conditions are reviewed. WodaTherm™ then confirms the battery configuration, BMS interface, cabinet arrangement, cable entries, thermal management, document package and exact scope of supply.
The displayed price is calculated for standard door-to-door transport to an accessible address in Europe. Remote-area surcharges and site-specific unloading, crane work, foundations, installation or commissioning are included only when listed in the final proposal. Expected delivery is 30 days. Send us the PCS or inverter model, installation address, photographs of the proposed location and available load or consumption data so that we can prepare the correct HV241 configuration.
