16 kWh LiFePO4 solar battery · 51.2 V · 314 Ah · EVE cells
SEPLOS MASON-314L is a complete low-voltage LiFePO4 battery sold as a 16 kWh class system. The German product configuration identifies 314 Ah EVE cells, a SEPLOS BMS 3.0 and an active balancing board with three 2 A balancing circuits. The cabinet stands vertically on castors and keeps the power connections at the rear.
This product is the German-listed MASON-314L configuration, not the newer MASON-314L-O trolley model and not a cell-free DIY enclosure. WodaSign™ confirms the cell identification, BMS hardware, firmware, active-balancer board, inverter protocol and supplied cable set on the order record so that photographs and data from another Mason revision are not silently substituted.
Solar self-consumption and backup design
A battery stores part of the photovoltaic surplus produced when the building is using less power and makes that energy available later. In a correctly designed system this can increase on-site use of solar generation, reduce evening grid imports and maintain selected backup circuits when a compatible inverter, changeover arrangement and protective devices are included. The battery is a DC energy store; it is not an inverter and it does not by itself create an islanded backup supply.
Nominal energy is calculated from the listed 51.2 V and 314 Ah values and is approximately 16.08 kWh. Actual usable energy is lower and depends on the commissioned state-of-charge window, inverter reserve, current, temperature and conversion losses. WodaSign™ therefore sizes the complete system from measured consumption, PV production, required backup duration and inverter power rather than treating the catalogue energy figure as guaranteed AC output.
The high-capacity upright module avoids the extra inter-module wiring required by several small batteries while retaining a relatively narrow footprint.
The German source identifies 314 Ah EVE cells. The exact cell label and production batch are recorded before fulfilment instead of assuming a cell model from capacity alone.
The listed BMS platform supervises the battery and provides the communication layer required for closed-loop operation with a compatible low-voltage inverter.
The supplier describes three balancing circuits that can operate simultaneously at 2 A each, helping control cell-voltage spread in the assembled pack.
The 817 × 412 × 267 mm cabinet is narrow, stands on castors and keeps its display, rear terminals and communication ports accessible for commissioning and service.
The product is sourced through a German channel. Current stock allocation, freight to the destination and the exact cross-border dispatch date are confirmed with the order.
Verified configuration
The following values come from the live German MASON-314L listing and its exact product images. The reseller currently links a MASON-280L 280 Ah document under “Specification 3.0”; that document does not prove the 314 Ah cell data and is therefore not presented as this product’s exact datasheet.

BMS and balancing
The BMS monitors the pack and applies the configured voltage, current and temperature protections. It also supplies operating information and the communication interface used by a supported inverter. The active-balancing board addresses differences between individual cell voltages by moving charge between cells when its activation conditions are met.
The German supplier expressly warns that BMS 2.0 and BMS 3.0 packs must not be connected in parallel. Expansion therefore requires matching generation, firmware, battery revision, state of charge and cable geometry. “SEPLOS compatible” is not enough when two packs contain different BMS platforms or balancing hardware.
Inverter integration
The German listing names multiple low-voltage inverter families, including Victron, SMA, GoodWe, Sofar, Deye, Luxpower and Growatt. This is a starting point, not a blanket promise. Models within one brand can use different protocols, firmware and RJ45 pinouts, and an inverter’s maximum battery current may be lower than the battery hardware limit.
Before dispatch, WodaSign™ records the inverter manufacturer and exact model, firmware where available, the number of battery packs, intended operating mode and required communication lead. Charge and discharge limits are then commissioned from the battery revision, conductor size, DC protection, ambient conditions and the most restrictive component in the system.
Installation and logistics
The live source does not provide an exact ingress-protection rating for this 314 Ah configuration. Unless the supplied revision states otherwise, plan it as dry indoor equipment: protect it from rain, condensation, direct sunlight, corrosive chemicals and flammable vapours. Provide ventilation, a stable non-combustible base, sufficient floor loading, service access and mechanical protection for terminals and cables.
The cabinet weighs 113 kg and the listed shipping weight is 130 kg. Castors help with final positioning but do not make stairs, thresholds or uncontrolled slopes safe. Confirm access width, unloading, lifting aids and the final standing position before freight is booked. The battery must be immobilised in service and must not rely on plugged-in cables to restrain movement.
Installation, DC isolation, fusing or circuit-breaker selection, conductor sizing, earthing, communication wiring and commissioning belong to a qualified electrical professional. Never connect the battery directly to PV strings. Record pack voltage, cell spread, temperatures, alarms, communication status and configured current limits during commissioning.
Ordering and scope
The current German route lists short-term availability and a 10–12-working-day domestic lead time; delivery outside Germany differs. WodaSign™ confirms current allocation, cross-border freight, cell identification, BMS firmware, active-balancer board, accessories and the delivery date before fulfilment. A MASON-314L-O, MASON-280L-N or cell-free enclosure is a different product and is never substituted without approval.
The displayed price covers the battery product described on this page. Inverter, external DC and communication cables, additional protection, structural work, transport services, installation and commissioning are included only when explicitly stated in the order. This prevents a complete battery pack from being mistaken for a complete installed photovoltaic storage system.
Compare other solar batteries and battery storage, review the SEPLOS battery range or ask WodaSign™ to verify the inverter and delivery route.
Documentation discipline
Mason family names, enclosures and capacities have changed over time. The linked German supplier document describes a 280 Ah MASON-280L, while current factory documents also cover the mechanically different MASON-314L-O. Neither is published here as conclusive evidence for this MASON-314L EVE V3.0 configuration.
WodaSign™ supplies the exact product label, cell identification, BMS and balancing-board record, inverter protocol and batch-specific documentation with the commercial configuration. Research and supplier URLs remain private and no customer-facing link sends shoppers to another sales channel.
