Store PV energy as heat

When a photovoltaic system produces more electricity than the building is using, the surplus does not have to be exported to the grid or stored in batteries. Surplus power can be converted into heat and stored in the heater's thermal storage core.

Why store surplus electricity as heat

Choosing the right model

Full storage heaters provide greater storage capacity and can bridge longer periods without power input. Partial-storage models are usually more compact, respond faster and suit shorter carry-over periods. Choose according to the available charging window, electrical input, room size and the required duration of heat release.
