WodaTherm™ BDTN LV32 is an outdoor low-voltage battery storage system for solar PV projects that need approximately 32 kWh of energy storage outside the occupied building. The verified order specification uses a 51.2 V architecture with two 314 Ah battery units, a 0.5C operating reference, an IP54 outdoor cabinet, more than 8,000 cycles under the prescribed conditions, a five-year warranty reference and CE, UN38.3 and MSDS documentation for the ordered configuration.
The LV32 is the DC battery-storage portion of the installation. A compatible low-voltage hybrid inverter or PCS, EMS, backup switching, metering, electrical protection, cabling, foundations, unloading, installation and commissioning are included only when they are stated in the final WodaTherm™ proposal. The inverter is therefore not automatically included with this catalogue item.
The LV32 is sized for larger homes, workshops, farms, offices, small commercial premises and separate buildings whose load profile calls for more storage than a typical compact home battery. Depending on the approved inverter, controls and electrical design, the system can increase the use of locally generated solar electricity, shift energy into evening or night consumption, supply selected backup circuits or support a separate building. Nominal energy is not the same as guaranteed usable energy; the final usable value depends on the agreed operating window and inverter settings.
With a compatible outdoor-rated low-voltage inverter or PCS, the LV32 can form a separate energy point outside the home or business. Ten practical benefits are:
The quoted configuration uses two 51.2 V, 314 Ah battery units. Their combined nominal energy is approximately 32.2 kWh. At a 0.5C reference, the corresponding battery-side power is approximately 16.1 kW; this is an engineering reference, not a promise of AC output. Actual AC power, backup operation and grid functions are determined by the approved inverter or PCS, its operating window, current limit, BMS protocol and the complete system design.
Low voltage does not mean low current. Cable cross-section, route length, busbars, fusing, isolation, connectors and terminal torque must be designed as one system. Matching only the nominal voltage is insufficient: WodaTherm™ also verifies the inverter's current capability and communication compatibility with the supplied BMS before the order is released.
The IP54 enclosure limits dust ingress and protects against splashing water within the scope of the applicable test. It is not a flood or immersion rating. The approved location must provide a level load-bearing base, drainage, protected cable entries, service clearances, airflow, earthing, vehicle-impact protection and controlled access. It must also avoid uncontrolled roof runoff, flood paths and locations where snow or stored material can block ventilation.
Active cabinet heating and cooling support operation through seasonal temperature changes under BMS supervision. Final thermal setpoints, auxiliary consumption, condensate handling and allowed ambient range are confirmed for the destination climate, solar exposure, altitude and duty cycle. Charging can be limited by the BMS when cell temperature is outside the permitted range.

The catalogue price is based on the standard door-to-door European delivery basis used for this model. Remote-area surcharges, special route permits, unloading, crane work, foundations, installation and commissioning are included only when stated in the final proposal. Before production, WodaTherm™ confirms the inverter model, BMS protocol, required usable energy and power, site temperatures, cabinet arrangement, cable entries, protection concept, foundation, drainage, access and document register.
Expected delivery is 30 days. Send us the inverter or PCS model, installation address, photographs of the proposed position, required backup functions and the expected winter and summer temperatures. We will confirm compatibility and define the correct LV32 project scope.
