BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS 2.56 kWh is one lithium iron phosphate battery module for the original high-voltage HVS platform. It is an expansion building block for a correctly designed HVS tower and is not a complete battery system on its own.

One original HVS module, not HVS+ or BCU2.0

This offer contains one original-generation HVS module. A working system requires two to five compatible original HVS modules, the matching original-generation BCU and base, an inverter approved for the exact tower, electrical protection and professional commissioning. Later HVS+ / BCU2.0 products are a separate generation and must not be substituted without written compatibility confirmation.

Verified module and tower data

  • Module usable energy: 2.56 kWh
  • Module nominal voltage: 102.4 V DC
  • Module weight: 38 kg
  • Cell chemistry: lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4 / LFP)
  • Tower configuration: 2 to 5 compatible HVS modules
  • Tower usable energy: 5.12 to 12.8 kWh
  • Tower nominal voltage: 204.8 to 512 V
  • Tower operating voltage: 160 to 600 V
  • Maximum output current: 25 A; peak 50 A for 3 seconds
  • Communication: CAN / RS485

Efficiency, environment and installation

The complete correctly assembled tower is specified for at least 96% round-trip efficiency, IP55 protection, indoor or outdoor floor-standing use and -10 °C to +50 °C operation. Power derating applies below +5 °C. Outdoor suitability does not permit standing water or removal of the prescribed clearances, foundation, electrical protection and qualified installation requirements.

Stock and exact-generation check

The module is held in European supplier stock. The exact original HVS label, generation, serial number and applicable warranty conditions are confirmed before order acceptance so that original HVS and later HVS+ / BCU2.0 components are not mixed by assumption.
