5 kWh usable high-voltage LFP battery module for Huawei LUNA2000 S1 energy storage.
Huawei LUNA2000-5-E1 is one modular battery unit for residential and smaller commercial photovoltaic installations. It uses lithium iron phosphate cell chemistry and provides 5.0 kWh of usable energy in a compact IP66 enclosure. The module can form the first capacity step of an S1 battery tower or be combined with further compatible E1 modules when the electrical design requires more stored energy.
This item is not a complete battery system. The product supplied under this page is one LUNA2000-5-E1 battery module. A working installation also requires the compatible Huawei LUNA2000-10KW-C1 power and control module, a supported Huawei inverter, the specified mounting arrangement, protection, cabling and professional commissioning. These separately selected components are not included unless they are explicitly listed in the order.
One to three E1 battery modules can be installed in a tower according to the current Huawei design rules. The 5 kWh and 7 kWh E1 modules may be combined in approved configurations, allowing system capacities of 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19 or 21 kWh. The 5-E1 module has a maximum charge or discharge power of 3.5 kW; a correctly configured three-module tower can reach up to 10.5 kW, subject to the inverter, controller, temperature and operating limits.
The IP66 enclosure is designed for protected indoor or outdoor installation in accordance with Huawei's mounting and clearance requirements. Natural convection keeps operation below 29 dB without a continuously running fan. The specified operating range is -20 °C to +55 °C, with power limitations possible at temperature or altitude extremes. Floor mounting is the standard arrangement; an approved wall-mounting solution is optional where the building structure and manufacturer instructions permit it.

The battery is intended for supported Huawei residential inverter families listed in the current LUNA2000 S1 documentation. Compatibility depends on the exact inverter suffix, phase arrangement, firmware, grid requirements, backup design and number of battery modules. The LUNA2000-10KW-C1 power and control module, inverter, backup equipment, meter, protection, installation material and labour are selected separately.
