BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM 2.76 kWh is one lithium iron phosphate battery module for the original modular high-voltage HVM platform. It is intended for a correctly matched residential photovoltaic storage tower and is not a complete battery system on its own.

One original HVM module, not HVM+ or BCU2.0

This item contains one original-generation HVM battery module. A working tower requires three to eight compatible original HVM modules, the matching original-generation BCU and base, an inverter approved for the exact configuration, electrical protection and professional commissioning. The later HVM+ / BCU2.0 generation is a separate product family and must not be substituted without written compatibility confirmation for the exact project.

Efficiency, environment and installation

The complete correctly assembled system is specified for at least 96% round-trip efficiency, IP55 protection, indoor or outdoor floor-standing use and -10 °C to +50 °C operation. Output is derated between -10 °C and +5 °C. Outdoor suitability does not remove the requirements for a stable foundation, compliant clearances, protection from unsuitable site conditions and installation by a qualified person. The complete system is documented for on-grid, backup and off-grid applications with a compatible inverter.

Stock and exact-generation check

The module is held in European supplier stock. Because the supplier line identifies HVM but not the exact manufacturer reference, the module label, original HVM generation, cell-version weight, serial number and applicable warranty conditions are confirmed before the order is accepted. This prevents a later HVM+ or BCU2.0 component from being mixed into an original HVM tower by assumption.
