Keep your own energy ready for the evening

The AVEPOWER 16 kWh standing battery brings a substantial energy reserve to a home or small business energy system. Its 51.2 V nominal voltage and 314 Ah rated capacity correspond to approximately 16.08 kWh of nominal energy. The battery combines LiFePO4 cells, JK BMS management, a local display and Bluetooth in one enclosure. It provides a practical foundation for a low-voltage storage installation designed around solar generation, everyday electricity use and a reserve for selected building circuits.

Energy storage helps bring production and consumption together. Electricity collected during a sunny afternoon can be used later, when the household is cooking, working, using lighting or running other equipment. In a system with an appropriately matched inverter, the same battery can serve solar self-consumption and backup arrangements. You gain a store of electrical energy that can be managed around the way your home or business actually operates, rather than around the time at which the sun happens to shine.

314 Ah on a 51.2 V battery platform

The two core ratings describe different aspects of the battery. Ampere-hours express its electrical charge capacity; kilowatt-hours make the stored energy easier to relate to an energy plan. Multiplying 51.2 V by 314 Ah gives 16,076.8 Wh, or approximately 16.08 kWh. These clear reference values help compare storage sizes and plan a reserve for a house, workshop or small commercial space. The battery belongs to the widely used 51.2 V low-voltage class of stationary storage systems.

LiFePO4 storage for everyday energy cycles

Lithium iron phosphate cells are an established basis for stationary battery storage. In this application, their role is to accept electrical energy and make it available again through the connected power-conversion equipment. AVEPOWER uses the LiFePO4 platform for solar storage and energy-reserve applications. The cells, management electronics and connection area are brought together in one cabinet, creating a straightforward building block for a planned battery installation.

For a solar-equipped property, storage opens up more ways to use its own generation. Production and consumption can complement one another across the day: energy is stored during available generation and the energy system later directs it towards the equipment in use. A project can also take account of tariff periods, home-office activity or regular evening consumption. The connected control system determines how that stored energy is used throughout the different parts of the day.

JK BMS at the centre of battery management

This configuration includes a JK battery management system. The BMS links the individual cells with the operation of the complete battery: it monitors their condition and manages charging and discharging according to its configured parameters. For the user, this means coordinated battery management and a clear point of access to operating information. The display and wireless connection make the storage system easier to understand during ordinary use.

Integrated 2 A active balancing

The JK management system is accompanied by a 2 A active balancer. Active balancing works with differences between individual cells and helps equalise their condition as the battery operates. In a battery made up of multiple cells, coordination between those cells is an important part of managing the assembly as a whole. Here, the balancer is included in the offered configuration alongside battery management and the local information display.

This equipment is useful in an installation that repeatedly stores and releases energy. Solar production varies, a business may have a different consumption pattern at weekends, and a home follows its own morning and evening routine. Active cell balancing complements battery management as the installation moves through these normal operating patterns. The relevant cell-management equipment is integrated inside the battery enclosure.

A 3-inch display where you need it

The front-mounted 3-inch display provides a convenient local interface. When you enter the equipment room, the battery's information panel is directly in front of you. This is useful during commissioning and when following the system's everyday operation. Battery information can be viewed alongside the current solar generation and the electrical demand of the building, giving the storage installation a clear and accessible point of reference.

Bluetooth access from a nearby phone

Bluetooth adds a wireless route to the battery management system through the corresponding JK BMS mobile application. The phone and the built-in screen complement each other: one provides a quick view at the battery, while the other offers a convenient way to browse the available information nearby. This makes the battery a more understandable part of the property's energy equipment and supports convenient local interaction with its management system.

Standing cabinet with connection equipment

The white enclosure has a clean front panel and an accessible display. The photographs supplied by the manufacturer show the front of the battery, its upper connection area and the dust-protection cover. This arrangement can be incorporated into an orderly equipment space, with the position of the cabinet considered alongside cabling and the other electrical components. The result is a storage installation with a clear physical layout.

Connection cables and the dust-protection cover are included in the offer. They complement the battery and its integrated electronics with practical connection equipment. The AVEPOWER 51.2 V 314 Ah JK BMS configuration is an appealing option for a project seeking approximately sixteen kilowatt-hours of battery energy, active balancing, a local screen and Bluetooth access. It brings capacity, coordinated cell management and useful local information together for a considered approach to using your own electricity.
